Unconsented Microsoft Windows Update

There were 9 files both from Windows Vista and XP where modified by Microsoft via its service "Windows Update" without computer users consent. We all know that Microsoft can only install updates on our Windows system if we give access or allow it, but a few weeks ago, Microsoft silently install updates even if Automatic Updated is turn off.

The files that were updated from Vista are:
  1. wuapi.dll
  2. wuapp.exe
  3. wuauclt.exe
  4. wuaueng.dll
  5. wucltux.dll
  6. wudriver.dll
  7. wups.dll
  8. wups2.dll
  9. wuwebv.dl

And on XP are:
  1. cdm.dll
  2. wuapi.dll
  3. wuauclt.exe
  4. wuaucpl.cpl
  5. wuaueng.dll
  6. wucltui.dll
  7. wups.dll
  8. wups2.dll
  9. wuweb.dll
So, why Microsoft updates system even if the user don't allow his system to be updated? If Microsoft can enter Windows system without user knowledge, how about bad hackers? If Microsoft can enter then there's no doubt that Hackers can also enter any Windows system. The question is "How safe is Windows?".

If you want to know if your system is being updated by Microsoft without your knowledge, then locate one of the files above (depending on your OS) in WINDOWS>system32 and just right click the file and click the Version tab above, the version of the file must be Version 5 (if not yet updated) or if it's already Version 7 then it's already been updated by Microsoft.
