In this new episode, the team argues over a family’s decision to treat their young daughter in the House Season 7 Episode 2: Selfish. A healthy and active 14-year-old Della with a terminally ill brother collapses during a skateboarding competition. House and his team struggle to diagnose her condition and reassure her parents who already have to cope with their son’s terminal illness. With time running out to save her life, Della’s family is left with little hope of securing a new donor and faced with a seemingly impossible decision regarding the fate of both children. And in the clinic, House must deal with an elderly man and his son. House and Cuddy begin to face the challenges of taking their romantic relationship into the workplace.
